"Neva Neve" is a collaboration between two unique duo constellations influenced by Brazilian music. The quartet was formed when Forslund - Lindholm (SE), a duo consisting of marimba and saxophone met with the duo Fred Warnby & João Felippe (SE/BR), performing with Brazilian percussion and cavaquinho. With an unusual combination of instruments and innovative arrangements mixed with brilliant improvisations, they do deep dive into the Brazilian music culture but also touches the Swedish folk tradition in an interesting fusion style.
The group met in the summer of 2022, both duos playing at the same event and decided to do a collaborative number. The following year the quartet made its first tour in Sweden, 2023.
